Learners, parents and staff were consulted on what it is that we want for our learners by the time they leave our school. This forms our Curriculum Rationale, why we do the things we do.
Our school community represents our aim for learners in the following way:
We recognise the uniqueness of our school, sitting within central Scotland and with strong associations to our cultural heritage and we understand that it is important for all learners to know about Bannockburn and the place it has ion Scottish history. As such, all learners spend time learning about both Bruce and Wallace as well as the wider Scottish context. We recognise the skills which young people need in the 21st Century to be able to contribute to society and these core competencies play key roles within our curriculum.
